Get to Know These Great Napa Valley Restaurants in 2019
When you think of Napa Valley, you probably picture gorgeous wineries, outdoor relaxation, and exquisite wine tastings. But Napa Valley is so much more than rosé and sunshine—in fact, the region is home to a large population of locals who love to enjoy cuisine that’s just as impressive as its sauvignon blanc. From eclectic taquerias to Michelin-starred fine dining, Napa has something for everyone.
Here are some of our favorites that you won’t want to miss in 2019.
The Restaurant at Meadowood Napa Valley
Located in St. Helena, The Restaurant at Meadowood Napa Valley features modern American fare and boasts three Michelin stars. You’re in good hands with Chef Christopher Kostow, who will serve up a culinary delight unlike any other.
Lucy Restaurant and Bar
Lucy Restaurant and Bar at Bardessono in Yountville is known for its menu of handcrafted cocktails and fresh fare—so fresh, in fact, that the produce on your plate is actually grown mere steps from the kitchen, as well as in partnership with several other local farms.
Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch
If you’re looking for a true farm-to-table dining experience, this is the place for you. Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena is the true epitome of this dining trend, with a dining room that showcases their very own grass-fed meats (including beef and lamb), organically-grown produce, homemade extra virgin olive oil, fresh eggs, Cabernet vinegar, honey, and more. You can even take some of the restaurant home with you, as almost all of their items are available for purchase at the on-site farmers market.
Celadon
This Napa staple has been around for decades—and for good reason. Celadon has managed to keep its clientele coming back year after year by continuously serving up some of the best food around. Keep in mind that the menu changes frequently, and you can always expect to see some sort of Middle Eastern or Asian influence. The Moroccan lamb chops are not to miss.
Miminashi
While farm-to-table is a clear winner in Napa Valley, every now and then you want something different. If you’re in the mood to break out of the usual Napa dinner cycle, this is the place to go. Serving inspired Japanese-style Izakaya, Miminashi features a beautiful interior, and you and your guests are guaranteed to have a good time. You can sit at the bar area and order a la carte or get the featured Chef’s Menu courses.
