Still in their original location in St. Helena since 1908 and using the brick ovens installed in the 1920s to bake their culinary creations. Proprietor Karen Mitchell, once a successful caterer in the Napa Valley, works with her daughter and managing partner Sarah Mitchell Hansen, are dedicated to authentic, artisan baking traditions. Top of a must have at Model Bakery are the fresh made English muffins, also they are one of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite things.

Model Bakery is a great place to grab a quick lunch with fresh, seasonal salads, soups, sandwiches and pizza!

BELLA BAKERY & CAFÉ – CALISTOGA

Local Calistoga residents Paul and Jen Crudo opened the bakery and café in 2013. Bella Bakery & Café are proud to be their hometown bakery and they want to serve their community with a smile, great cup of coffee, and a treat made from scratch. The bakery makes its own quiches, pastries, sandwiches, and variety of cakes, including wedding cakes.

What we love about Bella Bakery & Café are the delicious sandwiches, whole quiche pies to order and take home, and their unbelievable chocolate and salted caramel tarts.

You can find them open during many of the Calistoga daytime and nighttime parades.
